My Therapeutic Approach

My approach is grounded in compassion and scientifically supported therapeutic principles. I integrate exposure and response prevention (ERP), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help individuals develop practical tools for navigating OCD, anxiety, and related challenge areas.

By combining these evidence-based approaches with a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, my goal is to help individuals build new patterns of thinking and responding that facilitate meaningful and lasting change.

I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC; MA license number: LMHC10005231). I received my masters in counseling psychology from Lesley University and my undergraduate degree from Harvard University. My prior work as a counselor and Unit Manager at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute cultivated my passion for working with individuals with OCD, anxiety, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs).

In addition, I completed an internship at Glenhaven Academy, a residential treatment center for adolescent girls where I provided individual, group, and family therapy. My time working at Lahey Behavioral Health had a dual focus on substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. My Areas of Specialty

Working at the world-renowned McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute for four years was a transformative experience. Helping clients learn and apply the ERP principles, to make significant progress, reinforced my dedication to specializing in OCD, anxiety, and BFRBs and ERP.

My prior roles within the academic setting where I served as Director of College Advising and Executive Assistant to the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid also developed my specialty in career and college preparation and counseling.
